A Cherished Teacher and Prayer Partner

Mrs. Louise Turner was a school teacher for 23 years and the teacher of the Anchor church school class longer than that. Eventually she became a shut-in but she was sought out almost daily by those who asked to be put on her prayer list.
Pastors, former class members who had moved away, class members in town, other church members, people from other churches came to visit her with their requests. They had heard about such things as this: one class member was bothered each Spring by a condition that caused her to lose her voice. One day Louise asked her what the problem was and then said, "Let's just pray that God will take it away." The voice loss has never returned. Many gave Louise, and God of course, credit for healings and answered prayer.
She continued in this way to "teach" even though no longer in the class room.
